apparently we were a little too ambitious with our outings last week... mason reached another milestone - his first cold. yuck! we visited the doctor yesterday and confirmed our suspicions. we have since had the pleasure of assaulting him with the little noses saline drops and nasal aspirator before every meal. he hates it, but i must admit, it is highly effective. he sounds so much better already!
we are now on house arrest for a while to make sure he has ample time to get well and build up that tiny immune system... sorry, no exciting photos for a while (although we'll still be taking plenty of pictures at home).
the silver lining to the doctor's visit is that our little monkey has gained ANOTHER 11 ounces. he now weighs a whopping 11 pounds, 11 ounces. what can we say? he's a chunk for a not-quite 6 weeker!
