before our beach trip, mason was toddling around everywhere. but he hadn't quite mastered what to do when he fell down. as you might have noticed, we do not have the most cautious child in the world, so the falls were pretty frequent. prior to destin, a fall would be followed by a grunt of frustration, then mason would crawl over to something to pull himself back up.
about halfway through our trip, we noticed mason had a new trick...
we haven't seen him crawl in days. although he still gets frustrated when he falls, he now pops right back up!

i've been keeping up with the vacation - and it looked like you all had a wonderful time. i'm glad for that! what a way to celebrate the first year of mason's life! can't wait to see what mason comes up with next - it will be fun to see pictures of his new tricks, even if they aren't in the beautiful white sand of destin, florida! welcome home!
I have always wanted to go to Destin. It looks so beautiful and tranquil. Mason looks great and his parents too. Glad to see you were able to get away and relax hopefully:-)
