let me drive!

we went to grammy & pappy's this weekend to celebrate pappy's birthday. mason was just taking a few steps at a time the last time we were at their house, so he had much exploring to do! we ventured outside and mason spotted it... the tractor. he couldn't take his eyes off of it and walked from the patio, down to the walkway, over to the barn. when he reached his destination, he looked at me, pointed at the tractor, and voiced his request.

while the words were far from enunciated, the message was clear. "i want to ride on that. who's gonna take me?" he kept pointing and "ugh-ugh-ing" until pappy came to the rescue. and for the next 20 minutes or so, they drove around the yard - thank goodness there's 2 acres to circle! as you'll note in the pictures, mason's hands were firmly placed on the steering wheel and the stick shift - the whole time. while pappy provided a nice lap to sit on, mason did the driving. what's the minimum driving age again?
