we spent christmas at grammy & pappy's with the whole nasse clan (well, i guess it's now the nasse, reece, tietjen clan), but nonetheless, special k, aunt kant, and uncle g were all there. it was low-key and relaxing (except for chasing mason everywhere) and sadly, i have very few pictures to show for our time there. the few i did capture were not that great and because i fear the repercussions of posting photos of everyone in their pj's, i'll refrain.
rockin' my christmas pj's and too excited to wait
for daddy to take the 4-wheeler out of the box
last year i forgot the camera; this year i just forgot to take pictures! hopefully this trend will not continue into 2010!
we ate a lot, played a lot, and just enjoyed each other's company. the presents were aplenty and we now need to stripe a parking lot in our living room for all the vehicle-related toys that mason owns. in addition to his trusty cozy coupe and train, we now possess a fire truck, a tow truck, a 4-wheeler, a lawnmower, and a popcorn-popper. and we still have toys from his birthday that are unopened in the closet. it's ridiculous, really, but it just goes to show how much our boy is loved. brad and i only bought him the train. everything else is the result of very generous relatives!
we hope your christmas was as laid-back and fun as ours was... and that you took the opportunity to celebrate the Christ in christmas. after all, He's the birthday boy!
