we interrupt the photos from granny and papa's for an arm update! it's been a little over 2 weeks and mason has had 4 follow-up appointments at shriner's hospital. he's doing great!! his arm is healing so well and we're down to just a couple of band-aids to cover them.
he still whimpers when we change the bandage "oh, bo-bo," but as soon as we put the new one on, he happily says "bye bye, bo-bo" and hops off to play.
the doctors say that he should be bandage free in the next week and there shouldn't be any scarring. pretty amazing.
we think mason finally learned the "hot" lesson. now everything is hot and he is very cautious in the kitchen. thank goodness for silver linings.
