two months!

another month is in the books for sweet little mason. it's so hard to believe that two months have passed! we celebrated this milestone with a trip to the pediatrician for his two month shots, and thankfully, it wasn't nearly as traumatic (for either of us) as i had imagined. brad joined us for this adventure because i wasn't sure how bad it would be and thought both mason and i could use some moral support!

five band-aids later, brad and mason are back at work.

our chunky monkey weighed in at 13 lbs., 4 oz. (75th percentile) and is 24 3/4 inches long (95 percentile). his favorite activities include smiling, talking to mommy, and batting at his playmat friends "monkey" and "mr. pineapple." he also loves stroller rides, car trips, and bathtime. mason continues to sleep through the night (from 10:30 pm to 7:30 am) and is quite fond of his daily schedule, which makes mommy happy too. all in all, he's the joy of our hearts and the biggest blessing we have ever been given. we love you mason!
